What is the best ecommerce shopping cart software?

I am in the market for a shopping cart software similar to avactis, bosscart, or x-cart.
Things I am looking for:
-one software that will allow me to make multiple store websites
-it must have product variation options ( such as different colors, sizes, and prices for one item)
-a good built in storefront editor with templates ( but still has the capability to enter my own html)

The multi-storefront is the default feature of Avactis, as well as product options and build-in wysiwyg editor.
btw, what storefront editor you need? WYSIWYG editor or something different?

I would look at Bigcommerce. It was voted as #1 in 2009 for ecommerce shopping cart software.
